Couch to 5k
For adult beginners with little or no experience of running and who want to improve their overall fitness levels in a friendly and supportive environment. The next 10-week courses are available as follows:
Wednesday mornings (term-time) at 10:45-11:45am
Sunday mornings (term-time) at 9:30-10:30am
Improvers
Suitable for adults who can run 5k without stopping! These sessions are coached by Alison Davies (CiRF) and focus on running form and technique as well as increasing current fitness. Our improver groups range from runners who have just completed the Couch to 5K course to more experienced runners with specific goals (such as achieving specific distances and/or improving their times at a particular distance). Again, the main aim of these sessions is to have fun and feel good about your running!
Sessions are:
Wednesdays (term-time) at 9:30am
Sundays (term-time) at 8:30am
